above all great fun, which is why we want to instill in children a love of physical activity, especially important in today’s era of sedentary lifestyles. Our non-public nursery and public kindergarten provide the best start for the future combined with great fun.

About us

Public Kindergarten Fair Play in the Podgórze district of Kraków is a fantastic place for every little one! We support children’s development by focusing on sports and English language learning to help them strengthen not only their bodies but also shape their minds. We believe that acquiring versatile skills is the best way to prepare a young person for life in the modern world.

Our highly qualified staff places great importance on both developing new skills and instilling ethical and moral values. In addition, teachers, instructors and coaches take care of the children’s psychophysical development. With us, children learn respect for others and cooperation among peers according to the “fair play” principle. We want to teach them how to function in society in accordance with the rules of healthy competition, so they can later gain satisfaction from their decisions. We care about making them aware of how important honesty towards others and sincerity towards themselves truly are.

News

Social Skills Training

Our preschool offers regular Social Skills Training (SST) sessions, which are a form of group work focused on teaching children social skills such as listening, asking for help, and joining others. These sessions also cover emotional management, including identifying one’s own feelings and understanding the emotions of others. Most of the classes consist of play, role-playing, worksheets, games, and various relaxation techniques.

Bilingual Future

The kindergarten has joined as a partner in the Universal Bilingual Education Program “Bilingual Future”. The main goal of the Program is daily, contextual exposure of children to the English language during the period of particular language sensitivity (0-6), so that English never becomes a foreign language for them. In this way, the child naturally – that is, according to the same principles as the first language – acquires a second language. Apart from language skills themselves, bilingualism is associated with numerous benefits for the child’s intellect, psyche and health. The brain receives a healthy dose of training along with knowledge and skills that at this stage of development become consolidated exceptionally quickly and effectively.

Bilingualism, among other things, improves concentration, enhances divided attention and memory (semantic and episodic), deepens cultural and social sensitivity, and develops analytical and empathetic abilities. Bilingual children, and later adults, achieve better academic results and have greater opportunities for social and cultural adaptation. They are characterized by a higher social and material status and – perhaps most importantly – better health.
